Hello everyone!
That’s my first blog in my personal blog. Respect for Open Source Developers <3
Programming is just another office job. It might involve some creativity, but at its core, it’s just another office job, like being a banker, government worker, or cashier. This list can go on and on.
While there are some programmers who truly make a difference in people’s lives—like those involved in open-source projects—these are the individuals who make our lives with technology better and make Earth a better place.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for them (open-source developers). Just please don’t install backdoors in your software (like all corporate and government software does). By the way, I’d prefer a hacker to install a backdoor in my computer rather than the government or big tech.
Now, back to our topic: you’re not special just because you know how to program or work for some big tech company. You’re just another micro-nano gearwheel in the system and another rat in the rat race.
But who cares?
If you’re living the life you want, earning enough money to live, and getting an average salary, then you’re lucky!
Everything else is a side mission in life, except making a difference on Earth—that’s the real mission.
We only have limited time, so use it wisely.
Programming is not Engineering ! (Don’t be wanna be engineer, just do your job)
